Rôles & Responsabilités

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst specializing in Non-Life Policies. In this role, you will perform complex business, functional, and process analysis to bridge business needs and technology solutions within the banking/insurance sector. Your expertise will drive innovative, client-centric solutions aligned with regulatory and industry standards.


Responsibilities:



  • Solution Design Implementation: Analyze and implement complex features based on solution designs, ensuring alignment with functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Domain Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert in banking/insurance operations, products, and services. Maintain a solid understanding of industry regulations, compliance standards, and security requirements.

  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate technical knowledge of domain systems and collaborate with technical teams to ensure system robustness and efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to capture and translate business needs into functional requirements, providing viable solutions.

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Collaborate with test teams and end users to set up test scenarios. Ensure quality solutions by using various testing techniques and reviewing outcomes.

  • Incident Management: Quickly assess the impact of critical incidents within the domain, providing immediate solutions and recommending improvements to prevent future issues.

  • Documentation & Training: Keep documentation updated and accessible. Develop training materials to support stakeholders' understanding of new systems or processes.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and tools for improved efficiency. Coordinate the implementation of approved improvements.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and coach junior analysts to foster collaboration and productivity. Coordinate activities, including task distribution, planning, and follow-up.

  • Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and team leaders, highlighting key issues and recommending solutions.

Profil


  • 3-8 years as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in banking and insurance, specifically in non-life policies.

  • Familiar with modeling languages/tools and knowledgeable in project management methods.

  • Understanding of compliance, regulatory requirements, and architectural standards.

  • Strong critical thinking and ability to develop client-focused solutions.

  • Proven track record of working collaboratively, coaching team members, and coordinating tasks across teams.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in French or Dutch (both preferred).
