Your Responsibilities:   

• Team Optimization: Guide the team in identifying strengths and weaknesses, fostering individual and collective development.

• Promoting Agility: Play a key role in promoting agile methods, creating a collaborative, results-oriented culture.

• Obstacle Management: Work with the team to remove obstacles to development, ensuring smooth progress.

• Organizing and Running Scrum Ceremonies: Coordinate Scrum Ceremonies to ensure transparent and effective collaboration.

• Supporting the Product Owner: Assist the Product Owner in backlog refinement, maintaining a clear vision of the product backlog.

• Leading Retrospectives: Drive retrospectives, stimulating a continuous improvement process.

• Agile Coaching and Mentoring: Guide the team towards Agile adoption and maturity, positively influencing even experienced members.

• Natural Leadership: Embody natural leadership, building trusting relationships with the team and positively influencing stakeholders.

• Team Protection: Act as a bulwark for the team, protecting them from external distractions for maximum focus on objectives.

• Knowledge of Lean and Agile Principles: Master Lean and Agile principles, applying them pragmatically in operational contexts.

Requirements:

• Experience within an Agile (or Scaled Agile) team/environment.

• Embody and promote Agile values and principles within the team and organization.


• Knowledge/Certification of an agile framework or method (such as Scrum)

• Ability to plan and problem solve in collaboration with product management and delivery teams.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills, fostering a collaborative environment.

Your Profile:

• Over 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the Scrum agile methodology.

• Previous experience in the financial sector, particularly banking or insurance, is a huge advantage. However, if your experience comes from the IT or energy sector, this will also be valued.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.

• Fluency in Dutch is mandatory. Good level of French and English are required.

• Understanding of traditional project life cycles and their potential pitfalls.

• Good understanding of large-scale agile methodologies.

• Ability to participate in coaching client teams through transformation journeys towards agile ways of working.

• Ability to learn quickly and aspire to progress to the next level, whether as an Agile Coach or Project Manager.
