Rôles & Responsabilités

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to support the modernization of software application landscapes as part of cloud migration initiatives for an assignement with one of our banking client. The role involves developing and enhancing a comprehensive knowledge base, focusing on internal software through advanced graph-based methods to extract operational and strategic insights.


Responsibilities:

• Modernize the application management lifecycle and assist with the migration of legacy applications to new infrastructure.
• Leverage graph-based methodologies (e.g., graph theory, graph mining) to explore and optimize existing knowledge graphs.
• Use the knowledge graph to extract insights that enhance the planning and execution of migration processes.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Document and communicate findings, ensuring alignment between technical and business requirements.

Profil

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, mathematics, or engineering (PhD is an advantage). Candidates with a strong background in analytics are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science and Analytics.
• Expertise in graph-based approaches, including graph theory, graph learning, and graph mining.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Spark, and SQL, with optional knowledge of Scala, Kafka, and Flink.
• Familiarity with tools such as Conda, GitLab, Jupyter, PyCharm, and deployment tools like Nexus, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and SonarCube.
• Experience with databases such as SQL and Neo4j.
