Veld 2
As a member of the team, you will contribute directly to the team's core deliverables. The team currently consists of three experienced professionals and a team lead.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring, analyzing, interpreting, and commenting on key financial performance indicators (profitability, solvency, balance sheet, and liquidity) and underlying business developments for the assigned business units and entities within the controlled perimeter.
- Supporting forward-looking exercises (e.g., budgeting, multi-year plans, stress tests, simulations) related to financial performance and indicators.
- Contributing to the preparation of quarterly analytical reports (both detailed and executive versions), highlighting year-on-year and budget comparisons.
- Building effective working relationships with entities within the controlled perimeter to gather business insights influencing financial outcomes.
- Participating in the annual impairment testing process for goodwill and equity-method entities.
- Taking part in reviewing and validating sub-consolidation controls and related deliverables produced within the broader group context.
Veld 3
- Good knowledge of Dutch and French; excellent command of English (working language)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting
- 3–4 years of experience in an audit firm or a similar role within a financial institution
- Strong knowledge of business performance management and financial analysis
- Solid understanding of the banking sector and its business models
- Ability to critically assess and interpret financial data, ensuring quality in both internal and external reporting
- Strong command of accounting principles and IFRS standards
- Familiarity with banking regulations, particularly those related to solvency and liquidity
