Responsibilities: As a specialized Business Analysis Consultant in insurance, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the business needs of clients in the sector. Your key responsibilities include:

• Identify and thoroughly document business needs during discussions with stakeholders, constructively challenging company requests.


• Propose solutions based on in-depth analysis, considering industry best practices, and make informed decisions while adhering to the chosen solution.


• Collect, write, and ensure the maturity of requirements before transmitting them to the development team. Actively involve the testing team in the requirement development phase to prepare test scenarios and/or conduct tests.


• Adapt to an agile approach for iterative requirement gathering and writing, ensuring a smooth transition between the application project and maintenance by documenting the application comprehensively.


• Provide added value through a technical understanding of languages and Front End architecture, enabling a comprehensive view of detailed needs.

Your Profile: As an experienced professional, the ideal profile includes:

• A Master's degree in economics, finance, mathematics, computer science, and/or relevant professional experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience within an insurance company.


• Proficiency in Dutch, with good knowledge of English and French.


• Professional skills: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ability to meet project deadlines, deliver high-quality outputs, cultural openness, rigor, customer orientation, and excellent communication and analytical skills.


• Personal characteristics: Stress resistance, results orientation, a desire to learn and curiosity, dynamic and project-oriented personality, analytical mindset, proactivity, structured and pragmatic approach, ability to work independently while fostering a strong team spirit
