We seek a Senior Data Engineer Consultant with substantial experience to join our team of financial experts

Key responsibilities:

- Translate functional specifications into robust technical designs.

- Develop and implement the code needed to capture and process data,

- Establish and plan automated data pipelines

- Maintain a high level of code quality and contribute to the testing strategy with necessary tests.

- Be at the forefront of translating functional requirements into state-of-the-art technical solutions, developing Python scripts for efficient data import and export, and building sophisticated workflows in Collibra.

- Implementing automated data pipelines, ensuring their efficiency and reliability. You will also be responsible for writing the tests needed to validate the scripts and workflows developed, ensuring that each deployment meets our rigorous quality and security criteria.

- Leverage your expertise in REST APIs to seamlessly integrate various data applications.

Your Profile:

- More than 5 years' experience in data engineering, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data processing solutions.

- Fluency in Dutch and French, with proficient knowledge of English, is required.

- Essential technical skills include an excellent command of Python, proficiency with GitHub/Bitbucket, and a strong understanding of REST API principles. Familiarity with Collibra and Groovy is highly advantageous.

- You are familiar with Agile methodology.
